Artetch Living is pleased to present "We Strive . We Breathe" - A photo exhibition by local photographer Lester Lau, will be held at The PMQ from 3 July to 28 July 2021. In this exhibition, Lester reveals the pulse of our era through 20 film photographs and 1 installation. We would like to invite you to the exhibition opening on 1400-1600 on 3rd July, there will be a guided tour of my work.

Breathing, is the basic of survival; a born instinct.

Why do we have to breathe so hard?

Are you feeling suffocated?

You struggled hard, fought hard, yet still falling apart.

How shall we get along with ourselves and continue to survive under all these struggles.

Lester travels around different corners in Hong Kong, seeking the scenes and captured it as a symbol to reveal his feeling of the moment, in a way to keep breathing. The series of works are the record of our time, in a bit to stir up resonance among us. Let's breathe hard and freely together!

由Artetch Living主辦的「我們在這裡 盡力呼吸過」攝影展於2021年7月3日起至28日在中環元創方舉行，本地攝影師(劉栩同)透過影像作為創作媒介尋找當下的時代脈搏。展覽將展出20張以菲林相機拍攝的照片及1個藝術裝置。我們誠意邀請你出席於2021年7月3日下午2時至4時舉行的開幕日，屆時藝術家將會進行作品導賞。

呼吸，本是生存的基本 ; 與生俱來的本領。

為何我們要「盡力」做這件事呢？

是否因為快要窒息？

或許「盡力」代表曾經掙扎、曾經爭取，卻尚未如願。

盡力呼吸過(後) 我們如何自處、如何自理、如何面對、如何繼續呼吸？

藝術家游走香港不同角落，尋找能夠代表當下感覺的情景及拍攝，作為繼續呼吸的動力。除了是見證時代洗禮的紀錄外，還希望透過影像讓觀眾產生共嗚，讓我們一同繼續大大力呼吸。
